Transfer Credit
Transfer credit is awarded for all courses taken at a regionally accredited college that are:
- equivalent to those taught at Utica University, and
- for which you received a grade of "C" or better.
Transcript evaluation
Please note: Official transcripts from all colleges attended are required, including the transcript showing any degree awarded. You will receive an evaluation of transfer credit from the Registrar's Office shortly after you receive your letter of admission.
- If you have accumulated 30 credit hours, you will be evaluated on the basis of your college transcripts. Official final high school transcripts (with graduation date) are required for all transfer students.
- If you are entering with an associate's degree or transferring a minimum of 57 credits from a four-year college, you will be considered to have completed the requirements for the University’s general education core program. You will still need to complete the requirements of your major, including the total credit hours for the degree, and the New York State required minimum number of credit hours in the liberal arts and sciences.
